Internal Capture
Submit feedback directly from the dashboard
Quick Capture is an internal tool for your team to submit feedback directly from the Flowback dashboard. Instead of going through the public feedback form, team members can quickly capture ideas, bugs, or user feedback they've received through other channels.
When to use Quick Capture
Quick Capture is useful when:
- A team member receives feedback in a meeting, call, or Slack message and wants to log it
- You spot a bug while using your product and want to document it immediately
- Customer success relays feedback from a user and you want to create a structured submission
- You have a screenshot or document that captures an issue and want the AI to analyze it
How it works
Navigate to Capture in your dashboard sidebar. Quick Capture uses the same AI conversation flow as the public intake form:
- Select the channel (and category) you want to submit to
- Chat with the Flowback AI, which asks follow-up questions to gather the details it needs — attach screenshots or documents at any point during the conversation
- The AI generates a structured PRD from the conversation and creates a submission
The resulting submission flows through the same pipeline as any other intake — priority suggestion, draft review (if your channel uses Split & Review), and issue creation in your connected tracker.
Tip
You can attach files at any point during the chat. Sharing a screenshot mid-conversation lets the AI incorporate what it sees directly into the PRD.
Capture vs. intake form
The key differences between Quick Capture and the public intake form:
- Admin only — Only logged-in team members can use Quick Capture; the public intake form is open to anyone with the link
- Same conversation flow — Both use the same AI-driven chat to gather feedback and produce a structured PRD
- Same output — Both produce structured submissions with PRDs, priorities, and issues in your connected tracker
