Internal Capture
Submit feedback directly from the dashboard
Quick Capture is an internal tool for your team to submit feedback directly from the Flowback dashboard. Instead of going through the public feedback form, team members can quickly capture ideas, bugs, or user feedback they've received through other channels.
When to use Quick Capture
Quick Capture is useful when:
- A team member receives feedback in a meeting, call, or Slack message and wants to log it
- You spot a bug while using your product and want to document it immediately
- Customer success relays feedback from a user and you want to create a structured submission
- You have a screenshot or document that captures an issue and want the AI to analyze it
How it works
Navigate to Capture in your dashboard sidebar. The capture form lets you:
- Select the channel to submit to
- Upload files (screenshots, documents, etc.)
- Add a description or notes about the feedback
- Submit the capture
When you submit, the AI analyzes any uploaded files and your notes to generate a structured PRD — just like it would from a regular intake conversation. If Linear is connected, an issue is created automatically.
Tip
Quick Capture is especially powerful with screenshots. Upload a screenshot of a bug and the AI will analyze the image to understand the issue, then generate a detailed PRD.
Capture vs. intake form
The key differences between Quick Capture and the public intake form:
- No conversation — Quick Capture doesn't go through the AI conversation flow. It analyzes uploads and notes directly.
- Admin only — Only logged-in team members can use Quick Capture
- File-first — Quick Capture is optimized for uploading files with optional notes, while the intake form is conversation-first
- Same output — Both produce structured submissions with PRDs, priorities, and Linear issues
