Approving Drafts
Review and approve split submissions
When a channel is configured with Split & Review mode, every completed feedback conversation is saved as a draft that requires your approval before an issue is created.
How drafts work
In Split & Review mode, the workflow is:
- A submitter completes a feedback conversation
- The AI identifies any distinct feedback items and merges them into a single combined draft with a unified PRD
- The draft is saved as a draft submission
- Drafts appear in your inbox with a Draft badge
- You review the draft and approve or leave it pending
- Approving the draft automatically creates an issue in your connected tracker (Linear, GitHub, or Jira)
Reviewing a draft
To review a draft submission:
- Open the Inbox from your dashboard
- Filter by status to see only drafts, or look for the Draft badge
- Click on a draft to see its full PRD, conversation excerpt, and priority suggestion
- Review the content for accuracy and relevance
- Click Approve to publish the submission and create the issue
When to use Split & Review
Split & Review mode is ideal when:
- You want to verify the AI's splitting logic before issues reach your backlog
- You need to ensure PRD quality before issues are assigned
- Your team processes feedback in batches and wants a review queue
- You're working with high-volume channels where automatic splitting could create noise
If you trust the AI's splitting and want faster processing, use Auto-Split mode instead — it creates issues immediately without a review step.
