Dashboard & Analytics

Track submission trends and insights

Flowback provides analytics to help you understand feedback trends, identify patterns, and track your team's feedback processing. The dashboard overview and dedicated analytics page give you different views into your feedback data.

Dashboard overview

The main dashboard page (accessible from Dashboard in the sidebar) shows:

  • Key metrics cards — Submissions, Open issues, Urgent, and Completed, each with a delta compared to the prior period
  • Submission chart — A bar chart showing daily submission volume over a selectable date range (defaults to the last 7 days; switch to today, yesterday, last 30 days, last 90 days, or all time)
  • By Active Channel — A breakdown of submission volume across your active channels
  • Recent submissions — The latest submissions for quick access

Analytics page

The dedicated Analytics page (accessible from the sidebar) provides deeper insights:

  • Completion rate — The share of started sessions that result in a submission
  • Avg intake turns — How many conversational turns a typical submission takes
  • Avg time to submit — The average duration from session start to submission
  • Abandoned sessions — Sessions that were started but never completed
  • Workspace volume — Total submissions, this week's count, active channels, and average submissions per channel
  • By priority — Distribution of submissions across priority levels
  • By status — Distribution of submissions across workflow statuses

Using analytics effectively

Here are some patterns to look for in your analytics:

  • Spike in bug reports — May indicate a problematic release. Check if the spike correlates with a recent deployment.
  • High abandonment rate — A high number of abandoned sessions may mean your intake flow is too long or the channel prompt needs clarifying.
  • High-priority concentration — If most submissions are P0/P1, your priority rules may need tuning — or you may have significant quality issues.
  • Channel utilization — Low-volume channels may not be well-promoted or may be redundant.
Tip
Combine Flowback analytics with Slack weekly digests to keep your team aligned on feedback trends without requiring everyone to check the dashboard.
