Multi-Feedback
Handle multiple issues in one conversation
Sometimes a single feedback conversation covers multiple distinct issues. A user might report a bug and also mention a feature they'd like — or describe three separate problems they encountered. Flowback's multi-feedback system handles this automatically.
Feedback modes
There are three modes that control how multi-item feedback is processed:
| Mode | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Single | One conversation = one submission = one Linear issue. The AI combines everything into a single PRD. | Simple feedback channels where each conversation is about one topic |
| Auto-Split | The AI automatically detects multiple distinct issues and creates separate submissions for each, with individual PRDs and Linear issues. | High-volume channels where users often report multiple things at once |
| Split & Review | Same as Auto-Split, but all split submissions are created as drafts. You review and approve each one before Linear issues are created. | When you want to verify the AI's splitting before issues reach your backlog |
How auto-detection works
When a channel uses Auto-Split or Split & Review mode, the AI analyzes the completed conversation and identifies distinct feedback items. For each item, it generates:
- A separate title
- A dedicated PRD with problem statement, user story, and acceptance criteria
- An individual priority suggestion
- A separate Linear issue (in Auto-Split mode)
Reviewing drafts
In Split & Review mode, split submissions appear in your inbox with a Draft status. For each draft:
- Open the submission in the inbox
- Review the generated PRD and priority suggestion
- Click Approve to create the Linear issue
- Or leave it as a draft if you want to review it later
You can also use the Push to Linear button to manually create an issue from any submission, even if it wasn't auto-created.
Configuring the mode
The feedback mode can be configured at two levels:
- Workspace default — Set in workspace settings, applies to all channels unless overridden
- Per-channel override — Set in individual channel settings, takes precedence over the workspace default
